What began as an idea inspired by a deer feeder is now a technology platform used by more than 300 farms in eight countries, delivering one of the best automatic feeding services in aquaculture. Everything we build serves one purpose: helping shrimp and fish farmers produce more with less.
Jetfeeder is an Ecuador-based aquaculture feeding technology company headquartered in Guayaquil, specializing in shrimp, with solutions for fish farms. We develop automatic feeders and an acoustic feeding system that uses a hydrophone and water-quality sensors to detect shrimp feeding activity in real time, helping farms reduce feed waste and improve feed conversion ratio (FCR). Aquaculture Feeding Systems, Inc. (USA), a minority shareholder since our founding in 2016, became our majority shareholder in 2025. Agualogix Systems India Private Limited is our subsidiary in India.

1980
The beginning of an industry
Ecuador's shrimp boom reshaped the economy. Feed cost became one of the largest operational expenses — the industry needed a smarter way to feed.
The Idea
An unexpected inspiration
A deer feeder sparked the question: What if this could work for shrimp? Prototype after prototype followed, each one bringing the idea closer to reality.
2016
Jetfeeder is Founded | First Automatic Feeder — JF5
Jetfeeder is founded in Guayaquil, Ecuador, as a shrimp feeding technology company, with Aquaculture Feeding Systems, Inc. (USA) as a minority shareholder. With its first automatic feeder, the JF5, automated shrimp feeding proved it could be a reliable and transformative technology for shrimp farms.
2017
Innovation takes shape — JF10
Introduced the first flotation system, redefining how automated feeders operate in ponds. That same year, we took the first step toward our international expansion, with Panama as our starting point.

Crossing borders — Mexico
